Krishna is a tissue Banarasi in ink black shot with silver, woven so the weft catches light in sheets rather than points. The konia at each corner of the pallu is worked in cutwork so the reverse is as clean as the face. It is the quietest piece in the collection and, worn at night, the loudest.
